What needed to change.
A marketing team's intake tool sent requests into Asana, but they needed structure: portfolios, fields, routing by region, and dashboards. Separately, a delivery team was setting up the same project plan by hand every time.
How Deservio approached it.
We built an Asana workspace that takes in requests from the marketing team's intake tool and routes them by region, with portfolios and dashboards on top. We also automated project setup from templates, including task order and dependencies, and designed a workaround for an Asana limitation that stops its rules from running on tasks created through the API.
What changed.
